All of my work is “one of a kind”, because Manzanita trees don’t come as twins. So, if you really like a piece that has already found it’s perfect home, or have an idea of something special, we can take an idea and turn it into something beautiful.
Here’s answers to some questions people tend to ask…
What’s it going to look like when it’s done?
Take a look at my story, I share that as I work on pieces the raw wood takes on a life of it’s own. While I have a general idea of what the outcome will be, ie. bed, bar, bookshelves, etc. I don’t know what the wood will show me. I’ll be sharing pictures as the piece evolves, but neither you or I will know exactly what it will look like till I’m done.
How long does it take?
It depends on a number of things – size, complexity, intricateness. But a good ballpark is 2 months.
How much will it cost?
Like time, the cost revolves around all the same factors. But, here’s some general ranges so you have an idea.
- Smaller, simpler pieces like the Shelves, Cowgirl Up & Candleholders run $300 to $1,000
- Mid range pieces like Marylin, Wine racks, Mini bars & Beauty & the Beast run $1,500 to $5,000
- And larger, high end pieces like “Manz I Need a Bar” and the bed frame run $25,000 and up
